Rottler Machining Center Acquisition
PRESS RELEASE: September 17, 2022
As Capital Reman Exchange continues to cement its position as a nationwide supplier of high-quality remanufactured long-block engines, they do so while trying to be their best selves. With the company slogan “Safety, Quality, Customer, Company” ever-present, Capital Reman Exchange is proud to announce the acquisition and implementation of the Rottler EM103H Machining Center. Although capital intensive, investments in more complex and sophisticated equipment like the Rottler Machining Center help set Capital Reman apart by turning slogans into practice and realizing the benefits for both staff and customers.
A Year an a Half of Upgrades
The EM103H Machining Center is just the latest investment Capital Reman Exchange has made in equipment. Over the last year and a half, the company has acquired a new Rottler seat & guide machine, a new Rottler boring machine, new overhead cranes, and a new Rottler surfacing machine. With safety and quality being at the forefront the company has also seen significant growth in product demand. Production Manager Dennis Gordon said, “With an increased market demand, the fine lines between production time, staff safety, and quality had become increasingly obvious while trying to maintain lead times in tandem with demand.” Gordon further explained “the Machining Center allows us a greater ability to decrease lead times, maintain safety standards, and increase quality simultaneously. This machine can do the work of three machines without loading and unloading the block and avoiding unnecessary setup times.” The company says the new Rottler is now integral to their operations and will be an added asset moving forward.
